December 14?
The latest word is December 15th for the next referral. About 8 days worth of progress for the month. Slow and steady seems to be the pattern of flow. We estimate we will get our referral by the end of February. Fingers crossed of course.

December 8th 2005 Referrals Completed
Well it was not as bad as in the past. This time 8 days were processed for the month of November. At this rate we are on track for sometime before February. We have our fingers crossed. We recently just came back from Finland and in the Detroit Airport I noticed two American families with young Chinese babies. I wanted to ask them if they had just come back from China but I did not want them to feel uncomfortable. I just smiled at their lovely babies and continued reading my book.

November 2005 R.I.P.
Well it only took 6 months to process all of November 2005's paper work. Hopefully December 2005 will move along a little faster. From what the Rumor Queen states, November is only 60% the size of December. So hopefully that translates to us of about 4 more months of waiting. I will keep my fingers crossed. What's four more months anyway after already waiting 23.

Ho-hum
Find a balloon. Blow it up and then release it. The sound you hear is how we feel about the Rumor Queens latest rumors concerning the next batch of referrals from China. There was great talk of a 20 day batch of referrals. She must of been channeling from another dimension where the evil Capt. Kirk is located because her rumors were a bust. But hey, she is the Rumor Queen and not the Fact Queen.
On another note we are most of the way through the process of remodeling the house before the baby arrives. The bathroom looks great. Nina's office is slowly transforming from an example of Chaos Theory in action into a steady state phenomena.
I have been thinking about quitting my computer job more and more to teach Ju-Jitsu. This is a long term goal. I believe I will need to wait another 5 years before I can put that plan into action. Sitting behind a desk staring at a computer screen all day can get wearisome on the eyes
We will see. Must not be too hasty. Fools rush in where Angels fear to tread.

A New Hope
Rumor has it, from the Rumor Queen, is that the next set of referrals will encompass a whopping 20 days. That is a quantum leap in days compared to last months 6. If this is the trend and it continues unabated then our referral might come about within 4 months. We will hope for the best. In the meantime there is plenty to get done around the house.

November 1st Referrals Are Here
Wheew!! Another small number of referrals. As a result the averages point to our referral to some time in September if we are lucky, October realistically, or November if things start to degrade. At this point it is any one's guess. Slowly but surely we are getting to January 2006.

October 24th Referrals
The referrals for up to October 24, 2005 have been released!!! We are now 11 days closer to the January 5, 2006 Log in date. We estimate that by the end of June or July 2007 we will have our referral. It sure seems to take a long time but we are well over the hump. I saw a few pictures of the babies being referred and they all look pretty happy and healthy. Cannot wait to see our picture of Leah.
